How I approach the work

Understand fully. I listen, ask questions and pay attention to the details that make each person and project different. I enjoy people and believe an honest, comfortable conversation is the best starting point.

Act decisively. Once we understand the situation, I communicate the options, explain the tradeoffs and help move the process forward. When a loan does not fit neatly into a standard path, I bring creativity, adaptability and persistence to the problem.

Build something lasting. A mortgage is one decision within a larger life and financial picture. I want clients to feel informed today and know they have someone they can call when their goals change.

A little background

Before mortgage lending, I spent more than two decades in creative direction and marketing for lifestyle brands and wrote and produced independent films. Those experiences shaped how I listen, communicate, solve problems and coordinate complex projects. I have also bought and sold homes and value real estate as part of thoughtful long term planning.

I have spent much of my life between Hawaii and California. My father was born and raised in Hawaii, and Oahu is home. Outside work, I enjoy surfing, hiking, art, music, food, travel and trying to improve my golf swing.
